COVID-19 & Your Steamboat Vacation

Thank you for visiting our website today, please know the safety of our guests & employees is our top priority.  As of October 19, 2020, ROUTT COUNTY is at the SAFER AT HOME STATUS, LEVEL ONE which is considered CAUTIOUS.  There have been fewer than 75 new cases per 100,000 people in the past two weeks, with the population of Routt County around 25,000, this translates to  7-19 cases in two weeks.  Our company, local partners and the Steamboat Resort are looking forward to providing guests with a much-needed get-away to our beautiful Colorado town this fall, and safely into ski season.

Since March 2020, already extensive cleaning policies have been upgraded and our practices adapted to ensure that every aspect of your stay will be safe and worry-free. We are happy to speak with you directly to answer any questions or specific concerns you may have regarding travel to Colorado for an upcoming trip to ensure peace-of-mind.

NEW RESERVATIONS 

We have reduced the number of days before arrival that guests are required to make their final installment to have the most up to date facts about traveling.  Policies do vary by owner.property, but added flexibility for cancellation of new reservations is available and we are happy to provide more details about travel insurance for added peace of mind.  

Guests with COVID-19 travel concerns who have not made their final instalment will be offered the option to change the reservation to future dates, typically requiring a stay at the originally reserved home.  If the same property is not available then another equivalent property will be offered in its place.  Extension dates varies by property, please contact our office for more details.If the future stay dates are in the same pricing season then there will be no change to the reservation cost.  Please remember stays are subject to stay pattern restrictions and applicable minimum length of stay requirements.

EXISTING RESERVATIONS 

Please contact our office to be advised of the exact options for cancelling or postponing your stay taht pertain to the particular property you have reserved for your group's upcoming Steamboat Springs travel.

  • In order to maintain the Safer at Home or move to the Protect Our Neighbors status, we need to everyone to do their part and Practice the Five Commitments of Containment:

    • Wear a mask in public places

    • Keep a social distance of six feet

    • Wash your hands often

    • Stay home if sick or at risk, do not go to work or school if sick

    • Get tested if you have symptoms or in contact with someone who tested positive

  • Stop the spread. Keep personal gatherings to twenty- five or less people.

  • Wear facial coverings in public places per Routt County’s Public Health Order 2020-03.

  • Follow Routt County Public Health Orders.
