Downtown Halloween Stroll (Passed)

Downtown Steamboat
For more than 30 years, children and families have gathered on Lincoln Avenue to do their trick-or-treating and enjoy one of the community’s favorite festivities. Although costumes are not required, it’s more fun for everyone to dress up. Businesses open their doors to participate, and Downtown is closed to traffic.
Festival of Trees Saturday, November 12 through Monday, November 21, 2016
11:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily
Tread of Pioneers Museum
This 22nd annual tradition features gorgeously-decorated trees that are created for the holiday by local non-profits and businesses and are on display throughout the Museum. This event is FREE for all Routt County residents.
Christmas Storytime
Saturday, November 19, 2016 – 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM
Tread of Pioneers Museum
Come hear Pioneer and Victorian Christmas stories and traditions before or after you tour the decorated holiday trees. Event is FREE and open to all ages.
Holiday Concert
Thursday, December 22, 2016 – 7:00 PM
Strings Music Pavilion
Presented by Strings Music Festival at the start of their 30th-anniversary celebration.
Riders in the Sky, winners of multiple Grammy Awards, will present “Christmas the Cowboy Way.” That will be a festive mix of traditional Christmas music, western music classics, and the Riders’ original yuletide carols in a holiday spectacular.
